I live and work on the land of the Yugambeh/Kombumerri peoples. I pay my respects to the traditional owners and extend my respect to all of my Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, colleagues and friends. Acknowledgement of Country is important to me, because being disconnected from community and culture adversely affects mental & physical health. And this disconnection and trauma is multiplied if you identify as indigenous, non-white, non-binary, female, and/or neurodivergent too.
